Terms of service
The contract a vendor sets for using its product, accepted by signing up or by continuing to use it.
For SaaS, the terms often bring in the data processing agreement, the acceptable use policy and the privacy notice by reference, and reserve the vendor’s right to change them with notice. A change can move liability, data use (including AI training) or the governing law, which is why teams track the terms alongside the DPA.
