Change history

  1. Terms of service changed

A new Section 1.4 "Call Recording Feature" places sole responsibility on the customer for consent, transparency and legal-basis determinations (e.g. under GDPR) when recording calls with third parties, states Folk takes no responsibility for such compliance, and expands the indemnification clause to explicitly cover claims arising from use of the Call Recording Feature.

  2. Privacy policy changed

Folk added a new "Call Recording Feature": Section 1 now states Folk acts as Processor (not Controller) for call recordings and transcripts, with the Organization bearing sole responsibility for the legal basis; Section 3/8 note call transcripts are retained indefinitely while audio is discarded after transcription, and the subprocessor table now lists ElevenLabs (USA) as also handling "call transcripts" in addition to note dictation.
